Author's Guide
Journal of Dedication to the Society (JAMARAT), with the ISSN registration number XXXX-XXXX (printed), ISSN XXXX - XXXX (online) is a multidisciplinary scientific journal published by LP2M STAI Muafi Sampang. It's at the national level that covers a lot of general issues or issues related to community service. The purpose of the publication of this journal is to disseminate conceptual thinking or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of public service.
JAMARAT has been available since January 2024 or since the release of Volume 1, Number 1, Year 2024. The journal has been indexed in the Indonesia Scientific Journal Database (ISJD), Indonesia Publication Index (IPI) and Google Scholar. The editorial board of JAMARAT invites you to submit your manuscript for publication in this journal. Examples of writing article format are here.
How to write the title, name, and address of the author
The title of the manuscript must be written at the top of the first page with the middle text alignment. Meanwhile, the author's name (without an academic degree), and the writer's affiliate address, should be written with the center text aligner also under the article title. A writer must give two row spaces between the title and the author's name. Then, the space between the writer's affiliate address and the abstract title is one space. Keywords must be written under the overall abstract for all words. They should be arranged in alphabetical order and separated by semicolons not more than three to five words. In addition, the title of an article written in Indonesian must also be in English. (look at the example above).
The responsible author, the correspondence author, or the corresponding author should be written first and then followed by the second, third, and so on. Notifications of article revisions and final statements will be notified by email only to the correspondence author. If there is more than one author, the author's name must be written separately (,). If the author's name consists of at least two words, the first name should not be cut off. If the name of the author is only one word, it should be written like that. However, the online version will be written in two words with the same name repeatedly for the purpose of indexing metadata.
Manuscript General Guide
The general guidelines for the text of the manuscript are as follows:
1. The manuscript is an authentic research result that has not been published in the publication media or other publishing companies.
2. This manuscript does not contain elements of plagiarism. The editorial agency will directly reject texts that indicate plagiary.
3. Delivery and publication process is free of charge, without additional cost.
4. A manuscript that has been written under the GUARANTEE guidelines (in MS Word format, use the template of this article) must be sent through the Online Submission System using the Open Journal System (OJS) on the portal of the E-Journal (https://journal.stai-muafi.ac.id/index.php/JAMARAT/) select only one procedure. Subsequently, register as one of the authors or reviewers at the bottom of the “Register”.
5. Manuscripts of articles write guidelines and templates can be downloaded. Templates and guidelins for writing articles are available in MS Word (.doc) format.

7. Manuscripts that do not comply with the JARAT writing guidelines will be returned to the author before the review process.
8. The manuscript must contain several aspects of a scientific article as follows: (subtitles in sequence), which are: (a) the title of the article, (b) the name of the author (no academic title), (c) the address of the affiliated author, (d) the email of the writer (e) abstracts and keywords, (f) introductions, (g) research methods (h), research findings and discussions (i), conclusions (j), references.
9. Subtitles are written in bold and title case formats. Use left text alignments without sublines. The next expanded subtitle should be written in a bold sentence case format, it should use the left text equation and the second level number format.
10.The manuscript can be written either in Indonesian or English in the standard language. This manuscript consists of fifteen (15) to twenty-five (25) pages including pictures and tables. The script text should be written like this article template in camera ready mode. This article is written on A4 size paper (210x297 mm), with custom margins as follows: left 2 mm, right 2mm, below 2 mm and above 2 mm.
11. The text of the article should be in Palatino Linotype, font size 12pt, 1.5 rows-spacing, separated into two columns (except for the main title, author's name, and abstract) with a space between column 10 mm.
12.Words from unusual or foreign languages are expressed in Italian format. For articles in Indonesian, foreign terms or words should be avoided. Each paragraph starts 10mm from the left side limit while there is no space between paragraphs. All numbers are written in Arabic number format, except for new sentences.
13.The tables and images are placed in a text group after the tables or images to which they refer. Each image must be given a caption (Figure Caption) below the image and given a number in Arabic number format followed by the title of the image. Each table must have a table title (Table Caption). Images must be guaranteed to be printable properly (font size, resolution and line space are clearly seen). Images, tables, and graphics must be placed in the middle between groups of text. If it has a larger size, it can be placed in the middle of the yard. A table should not contain a vertical line, whereas a horizontal line is allowed only for important points.
Manuscript Body Text Guide
Manuscript title: The title must be informative and written briefly and clearly. There can't be many interpretations. He has to focus on the issues to be discussed. The beginning of the word is written in large and symmetrical cases. The title of the article does not contain unusual abbreviations. The main idea should be written first and followed by an explanation. The title of the article should be written in twelve words, 12pt size font, with a bold choice and in the middle text format. Meanwhile, abstracts should be written in a maximum of 250 words and followed by three to five keywords.
Introduction: The introduction should contain (sortly and sequentially) general background and state of the art as the basis of new research questions, statements of new scientific articles, major research problems, and hypotheses. At the end of the introduction, the purpose of writing the article should be stated. In the scientific article format, it is not possible to write references like in research reports. They must be represented in a literary review to show a new brand of scientific articles.
Methods: These methods are implemented to solve problems, including analytical methods. The methods used in solving research problems are described in this section.
Results and Discussion: This section consists of research results and how they were released. Research results must be supported by sufficient data. The results of research and discoveries must be the answers or hypotheses of research previously stated in the introductory section.
Conclusion: This is the final section that contains conclusions and suggestions. The conclusion will be the answer to the hypothesis, the purpose of the research and the research findings. It should be a summary of the results of the research as expected by the author in the purpose of research or hypothesis. The recommendation contains suggestions related to further ideas from the research.
References: All references used in articles must be listed in this section. In this section, all references that are used must be taken from primary sources (scientific journals and the minimum number is 80% of the total references) published in the last ten years. Each article must have at least ten references.
Guide to quotations and references
A writer must quote some of the articles from JARAT. All data submitted or quotations in articles taken from other authors' articles must include the reference source. References must use reference application management such as Mendeley, End Note, or Zotero. The writing format used in JARat follows the format used by APA 6th Edition (American Psychological Association).

Online Manuscript Delivery Guide
The text of the manuscript must be submitted by one of the two systems (the econd procedure is preferred):
1. The document must be presented by the Online Submission System in the JARAT portal (ejournal) HERE.
2. First, the author must register as an author or reviewer (check the role of author or revisor) in “Register”
3. After the registration process is completed, log in as a author, click on “New Submission”. The article delivery phase consists of five stages, such as: (1). Starting from (2). For upload submission, (3). Using Metadata, (4). Uploading additional files, (5). For confirmation 4.In the “Start” column, select Journal Section (Full Article), check all checklists.
5. In “Upload Submission” Columns, upload the manuscript file in MSWord format in this column.
6. In the column “Enter Metadata”, fill with all author and affiliate data. Includes journal titles, abstracts and index keywords.
7. In the “Upload Supplementary Files” column, the author is allowed to upload additional files, statements, or otherwise.
8. In the "Confirmation" column if all the data you entered is correct, then click “Sempurn Submission”.
